IMPORTANT UPDATE: The 52nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast has been re-imagined as a three-part, fully online event throughout Spring 2022.
The MLK Memorial Breakfast Re-Imagined
Despite plans to host a hybrid event (virtual and in-person at the Boston Convention Center), the recent surge in coronavirus necessitated the move to an online-only gathering. As the “beloved community” we must care for one another.
So we have re-imagined the annual breakfast as a three-part celebration.
Additionally, we moved from inspiration to action with our Teach-Ins, where you can watch here.

The Martin Luther King Memorial Breakfast Committee is a 501 (c)(3) organization that provides unique service to our communities through scholarships and other types of recognition. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and organize OUR community to bring about real, tangible change in the systemic injustices, inequalities, and inequities that plague our nation.
What are we building? What do we hope to see? Our vision is a trailblazing virtual gathering on MLK Day that celebrates Dr. King’s vision of the beloved community and pursuit of intersectional justice.
For 50 years, St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church and Union United Methodist Church have collaborated to present a memorial breakfast in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The partnership is an incorporated nonprofit organization, which includes members from both churches, named the MLK Memorial Breakfast Committee.
